Got nothing better to do on a Sunday morning?
http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/7448/chalkitup.jpg
As part of the final rush of advertising before IAW officially kicks off, we're going to chalk up campus with IAW adverts! Let's give people something worthwhile to notice on their morning walk to lectures. This event is for the following types of people:
Those who dont mind getting down and dirty are most welcome
The creative, artsy/fartsy types
Those who have nothing better to do on a Sunday morning (that includes studying. Who studies on a Sunday morning in week 3?)
Who are looking for that extra reward of not only chalking for IAW, but the reward that you get from each person who attends an IAW because of your chalking.
When: Sunday 9th August
Time: 10am onwards
Meet up at Musalla or in front of OTC/Education Building if it's not open.
We have the chalk. We need the people. If you're interested and want more details please email erissalah@sumsa.org.au.

I got so many cuts on my fingers from the chalk last year. I still have my battle scars to prove it. Sigh, the things SUMSA puts us through (rolls eyes). :p kidding.

If all goes well with the printing, we'll also be spending time putting up a new set of posters. Similar in style to the first batch, but event specific.

If you are being sniped from afar by a zoom lens: do not be alarmed. :D
The pictures will be given to a Shura member Insha'Allah - unless I am forbidden from taking pictures which I will respect.

I am a big coward. Meeting new people is torturous. I have avoided talking to anyone for 4.5 years in the Musalla. :(
How to do you access the Old Teachers' College building? I think I found that building locked up during weekends which forced me to pray on top of gym towel in my office.

Salams Akhi, you'll find that many of the boys in the mussalah are just as friendly, if not friendlier than the people on these forums :D
The building may or may not be open on weekends, if that's the case then we will meet outside near the education building entrance.

That is the truth sister.
I am certain our SUMSA brothers are very nice people, as I found out today. The fault is on my part: I cannot begin a conversation unless someone takes the initiative. Today I went against that though. I passed br Khanji about 3 times before I worked up the courage to introduce myself.

I guess these forums are a great way to overcome your shyness and meet those bros :D University will be so much more enjoyable that way.
